## Important Data Notice

This tracker stores records locally in your browser on your device.

That means your data is private to your browser, but it also means you are responsible for exporting backups.

Please export a backup:

- After entering important records.
- Before clearing browser history or site data.
- Before changing devices or browsers.
- At least monthly during breeding season.

If you clear browser storage, switch devices, switch browsers, or open a different copy of the file, your saved records may not appear until you import a backup.

The tracker includes an `Export Backup` and `Import Backup` tool for this reason.
