Introducing the first Babyloafs "Doll for Good:" Songbird.

Being a mom is tough. Being a mom battling cancer is even tougher. The profits of this very first DfG (Doll for Good) go directly to two amazing mothers currently living with cancer.

- Donica was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in August of 2010. She's undergone various rounds of chemo and two cyberknife surgeries and she is currently without health insurance. - Lauren was diagnosed with breast cancer a few hours after attending her first prenatal ultrasound for her son, Nico. She underwent chemo during her pregnancy and recently received news that her cancer had returned and spread. She passed in 2017. But wrote in her YOUCARING site:

“I love my family and friends. I love my life. And my son reminds me every single day that I won. I was able to bring him into the world despite the most dire of circumstances. His smile gets me through EVERYTHING. I may have given him life, but, like I’ve said before, he saves mine every day. And that’s why cancer never wins.”

Lauren was a Chicago-based musician who's music - and spirit - brought light to everyone around her.

Both Donica and Lauren have been very open about the messy business of living with cancer, and work to educate friends and followers while dealing with every high and every low, and I really wanted to find a way to perpetuate giving and supporting as much as I could. The profits from the purchase of every "Songbird" doll will be split between Donica’s GOFUNDME, and Metavivor.

Dolls are printed on a cotton linen canvas mix filled with a durable polyester stuffing. They are machine washable and safe to tumble dry on low.
