For embossing I use Arial font with all uppercase letters and the height of the letters is 1/3" up to 4 letters. Etched metal letters on the stamps are heated up and branded deep into the leather with up to 3000 pounds force. Please leave a note with initials in the personalization box. Great material, looks great, feels great. However, it's a bit of a snug fit, even though the dimensions are correct. This is due to it's huge nose stand in the middle, inside. I managed to get mine in, but I had to develop a technique, even though I can fit my shades in the original RayBan case of the same size, no problem. I'd decrease the size of the nose bridge inside. Other than that, it's a great item.
