Searching for a truly unique wedding band? Tired of finding the same plain bands or designs that just come from a catalogue?
This is just what you were looking for. It is many things: unique, sentimental, custom, heirloom quality crafted ,and you are completely involved in the making process.
I send you my Impression Kit in the mail. Once you receive it, imprint the entire length of your finger and\/or your fiancés finger separately. Then you mail that back to me. Once I receive it here in my studio in beautiful coastal Maine, I make a wax form from the impression material. Then utilizing the ancient lost wax casting process, I turn that impression into a metal ring utilizing gold or silver.

The traditional half round wedding band with the perfect personalized touch... the distinctive fingerprint of your loved one.

We wrap your partner's fingerprint from tip to hand on the inside of this 6mm sterling silver band, and then hand shape the exterior and finish it with a high polished shine. The fingerprint is darkened for contrast, but we can leave it natural and subtle if you prefer.

Here's how our process works- first you decide on the style, metal and details of the ring that you want. We give you a quote. Once everything is confirmed, we make a listing for you to place your order. After your payment is received, we ship you a kit to make your fingerprints. You send the prints back to us, and we begin crafting for you!

The Fine Print– The design or finish on the exterior of any ring is vulnerable to scratching and wear over any period of time, especially sterling silver. If you are concerned about wear, consider purchasing a ring with the fingerprint on the interior. All of the metals scratch and dent; exterior high polish or brushed finish can be refreshed with polishing or brushing. An oxidized finish allows the details of the fingerprint to stand out by blackening the crevices. Vigorous polishing and cleaning can remove this finish. We stamp our Maker’s Mark and Quality Stamp on all rings–these stamps are not placed on the fingerprint. Due to the handmade nature of our rings, widths are approximate.

All metals scratch and dent. Any design or finish on the exterior of any ring is vulnerable to scratching and wear over any period of time, especially sterling silver. We cannot replace a ring because it has shown wear. Finishes on the exterior of rings with prints on the INSIDE can be refreshed with polishing or brushing. Keep in mind polishing is done by essentially removing material. Consider purchasing the fingerprint on the interior if you are concerned about the exterior wearing.

Your ring is a handmade, hand-sculpted, custom piece of art. All of the metals scratch and dent, and the first scratches hurt the most! Your ring will develop a character that is unique to you and the activities you engage in while wearing it.

To keep your ring looking as fresh as possible, take it off before any activity where you apply force by squeezing, as in opening a jar, or with a tool such as a hammer or wrench. Take your ring off before lifting weights or anything heavy, like furniture. Keep your ring away from lotions, and harsh soaps and shampoos.

Wearing yellow gold or white gold rings in chlorinated swimming pools and hot tubs should be avoided: Chlorine can discolor the metal and perhaps even damage it. Other chemicals that

Our rings take anywhere from 6-8 weeks from the time we RECEIVE your kit to complete. We are a small company making handmade, one of a kind custom wedding bands, so please allow time to make them for your wedding! Custom, one of a kind, handmade rings are best not rushed.

If you are interested and your wedding is looming within 6 weeks, there is a RUSH fee of $100. This charge gives your order priority and adds overnight delivery of the finished product.

As a first time etsy buyer, I was not entirely sure what to expect or how the process worked, so I'm glad to say that my experience with Brent and Jess was absolutely fantastic! When I ordered my ring, I was unable to give a solid date for my wedding, as we're eloping. My estimated date of completion was November 19th. On the 23rd of October, I made a frantic phone call to them to let them know that we had set our date for the 13th of November, and we would be going out of town on the 9th. I didn't truly expect them to be able to get the ring to me in time, but I figured nothing ventured, nothing gained. The gentleman that I spoke with was -- as always -- kind, humorous and professional. When I informed him of what was going on, he looked in to my order and said they would absolutely be able to get it to me in time. Not only did they manage to get it to me in time, it was two weeks early. Poor guy was subject to tears of joy on the phone. On November 1st, I received the absolutely beautiful ring that I will put on my fiance's finger on our wedding day. Due to their consideration, I get to explain to him that in giving him this ring, I'm not only giving him my promise, but also a piece of myself. Their entire team is wonderful to work with, polite, friendly and efficient. I'm probably rambling here, but I can't say enough about this wonderful experience.
