Licensed Master Social Worker, now full time business owner! In 2008 I started selling scrapbooking supplies at some local markets. Gradually this transpired into Scrabble tile necklaces, then personalized items using vinyl. In 2010 I ventured into the Embroidery business, where I found my nitch, and what would serve to bring me through one of the most challenging periods of my life. In 2011 I was diagnosed with Lymphoma and ended up off work due to treatment and recovery for nine months. Well, all the things I hadn't had time for before I suddenly had time to do. While I was in the hospital I still continued running my business, working on the marketing, updating things, etc. By the time I got home and through the first phase of treatment I was regaining my strength just in time for the holidays and a sudden growth in my business that was totally unexpected.
I'm now a cancer survivor and have been in remission for almost nine years! In 2015 Designs by Daffy merged and is now under the ownership of Pat's Monograms, LLC. which has provided me the opportunity to reach an even broader market and pursue monogramming full time. I pride myself on the quality of work I produce, and continue to strive to provide the absolute best customer service I can. Now my main concern is keeping up with the constant flow of business! Thanks to all my faithful customers and friends for making Designs by Daffy a huge success!!
