What is ALLIYAH and THINGs?
Alliyah and Things is a sustainable home and wellness shop. We sell a compilation of eco-friendly, carefully selected, ethically sourced, handmade items for your mind, body, soul, and home.
We value creating and promoting a positive impact on not only the environment but the community through the creation of ethically sourced and handmade things. This is why we partnered with One Tree Planted to plant one tree per sale.
Is everything eco friendly?
I’m glad you asked! By far one of our top priorities is making sure that all of our products are ethically sourced and harmless to the environment. This is why we make sure that our packaging is zero waste and our products are handmade, small batch, cruelty-free &/or fair trade.
How do you ship packages zero waste?
Great question! We keep the environment at the forefront of our minds, which is why being eco-friendly is one of our main priorities. Everything we ship is entirely plastic-free, 100% recyclable &/or 100% compostable. Our boxes are 100% post-consumer boxes, meaning that we reuse boxes that we or neighboring businesses receive inventory in. So you might receive your order in a chip box. As well as order 100% post-consumer boxes.
How we label and seal our boxes?
All of our labels are made from 100% post-consumer waste and have recycle-compatible adhesive. In addition, we seal our boxes with non-reinforced paper tape.
What is used inside our boxes?
Rest assured that if your order is more fragile then we will secure your order using biodegradable packing peanuts that dissolve in water &/or protective honeycomb wrapping paper.
CUSTOMERS!
We give our customers the peace of mind that all of our packagings are made of 100% recyclable and compostable materials that are created from reusable waste instead of new materials. So we ask our customers to REUSE, COMPOST, or RECYCLE all of the packaging materials they receive.

ONE TREE WILL BE PLANTED FOR EACH SALE!
We have partnered with the non-profit organization One Tree Planted to help in the efforts of reforestation throughout the globe. Each year we will donate $1 per sale to One Tree Planted, which plants trees throughout North America, South America, Africa, and Asia.
