Celebration is self-care.

As a little girl, I watched women in my family plan get-togethers. Sometimes, they were big events, like a family reunion. But mostly, they were modest and intimate, and only required three things: food, something cold to drink, and a roomful of laughter. I believe that intentional celebration is important to our well-being. These get-togethers were opportunities to eat so much food, but to also strength our connections. Celebrating just made us feel good.

I'm sure you have some memories of connection that warm your heart too. As we go through life, we may find ourselves physically, socially, or emotionally distant from those who make our hearts beat. Announce Divinely is here to bring us closer, one card or toss of confetti at a time.
