Enjoying re-using to make beautiful things after many years in maternity care

Hi, I'm Jenny. I live and work in the beautiful Kāpiti Coast, New Zealand. I'm a gran, midwife, gardener, knitter & spinner, and listener of audio books and podcasts.
I've always loved to make and create and while my main passion is yarn & fibre, Ive recently had time to explore sewing, embroidery, re-using and upcycling.
The hand embroidered and applique project bags that I offer differ slightly in design and measurements. The description for each listing is as accurate as I can make it.
If you wish a particular design with another handle configuration please contact me. I am very happy to make a bag to your design and colourway preference.
I use old woollen blankets originally made here in New Zealand. I can't guarantee that they have had a "clean green" life before getting to me but I do my best to ensure there are no moth holes in them and definitely not in the fabric used for the individual bags. I wash them carefully prior to use.
Be aware we have a dog in our home but we are smoke free.
