Cuando empecé a tener muchos problemas con las articulaciones de mis dedos, comencé a fabricar mis propias férulas para anillos, y eso lo cambió todo. Lo que empezó como una solución personal se convirtió rápidamente en una vocación. Como artista de toda la vida, siempre he encontrado sanación a través de la creatividad, y ahora pongo ese mismo cuidado e intención en cada pieza que creo. Empecé este negocio para apoyar a otras personas como yo —aquellas que viven con dolor crónico— ofreciendo férulas artesanales que no solo brindan estabilidad, sino que también expresan tu estilo único. Hello and welcome to my shop! My name is Makai Anderson, and I live with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), a condition that affects my connective tissue and causes chronic joint pain and instability. When I began really struggling with my finger joints, I started making my own ring splints—and it changed everything. What began as a personal solution quickly became a calling. As a lifelong artist, I’ve always found healing through creativity, and now I pour that same care and intention into every piece I make. I started this business to support others like me—those living with chronic pain—by offering handcrafted splints that not only provide stability but also express your unique style.
