¡Hola! Soy Tessa, la creadora y soñadora de Fern & Thread Studio.
Me crié en el corazón de los bosques de Washington, donde la creatividad fluía con la misma naturalidad que respirar. Mi bisabuela, a quien cariñosamente llamábamos GG, fue quien despertó mi pasión por la costura durante las visitas de verano a California. Me enseñó que crear algo con tus propias manos es una especie de magia.
Con el paso del tiempo, esa chispa creativa nunca se apagó. Siempre era yo quien decía: «¡Yo puedo hacerlo!». Aunque durante mucho tiempo no creí que mi trabajo fuera lo suficientemente bueno como para compartirlo. Pero con los años, gracias al apoyo, la fe y el amor por lo hecho a mano, comprendí que crear es un don divino. Un don para compartir, no para ocultar.
En Fern & Thread Studio, cada pieza está hecha a mano de forma individual y única: diseños rústicos y llenos de alma, concebidos para envejecer con gracia y ser apreciados durante muchos años. Como artesana independiente, pongo todo mi corazón en cada puntada, cada textura y cada pequeña imperfección que hace que cada pieza sea verdaderamente única.

Hi, I’m Tessa! The maker and dreamer behind Fern & Thread Studio.
I grew up in the heart of the Washington woods, where creativity came as naturally as breathing. My great-grandmother, lovingly known as GG, first sparked my love for sewing during summer visits to California. She taught me that creating something with your own two hands is a kind of magic.
As I got older, that creative spark never faded. I was always the one saying, “I can make that myself!”. Though for a long time, I never believed my work was “good enough” to share. But over the years, through encouragement, faith, and a love of handmade living, I realized that creating is a gift from God. A gift meant to be shared, not hidden.
Every item in Fern & Thread Studio is individually and uniquely made by hand: rustic, soulful pieces designed to age beautifully and be loved for years to come. As a one-woman shop, my heart goes into each stitch, each texture, and every little imperfection that makes something truly one of a kind.
