Hola, soy el creador de First Slice.
He dedicado mi carrera a la ingeniería de software, resolviendo problemas mediante el diseño de sistemas sencillos, fiables y duraderos. Con el tiempo, esa mentalidad se trasladó al mundo físico a través de la impresión 3D y el hardware electrónico.
Todo producto comienza con una idea que pasa por múltiples iteraciones, o versiones. La primera versión puede ser rudimentaria, pero finalmente se convierte en un producto refinado con el que estoy realmente satisfecho y que deseo compartir.
Diseño y fabrico todo yo mismo en el Reino Unido, utilizando materiales de alta calidad y componentes cuidadosamente seleccionados. Ya sea una placa frontal personalizada para una máquina de vapor o un timbre inteligente hecho a medida, mi objetivo siempre es el mismo: crear productos que me enorgullezca ver que otros utilicen.

I’ve spent my career in software engineering, solving problems by designing systems that are simple, reliable and built to last. Eventually that mindset found its way into the physical world through 3D printing and electronic hardware.
Every product begins as an idea that goes through multiple iterations - or slices. The first slice can be rough and ready but ultimately ends up as a refined product I’m genuinely happy with and wish to share.
I design and manufacture everything myself in the UK using high-quality materials and carefully chosen components. Whether it’s a custom Steam Machine face plate or custom-built smart door bell, my goal is always the same: create products that I’d be proud to see others use.
