Flowers, Fiber and More
I am Kelsey Glass owner and creator behind Glasshouse Collection. I have always loved creating and learning different art forms and experimenting with different materials. I started making pressed plant art for my home and started this business to share with others the beauty of nature and how wonderful it is to have in your home. I collect different specimen from my garden and seasonal wildflowers, they are pressed on a traditional botany press for about 1-2 weeks or until they are completely dried. Each piece is truly one of a kind and beautiful. I strive to use all nature or re-purposed materials in all of my processes.
In addition to my passion of flowers I have an always growing love for fiber arts, I enjoy spinning different natural fibers into yarns that I use in my weaving's. Weaving for me is a therapeutic craft, seeing each piece come to life and the different textures and designs are so great and limitless!
I take a step away from my main projects from time to time and create new things that you will find in my store. Mostly other Home goods that are unique and timeless. All of my creations are equally crafted with love, time and care. I let inspiration come to me and don't try to force it - nothing good will come of that.
