Meu nome é Austin e comecei a Rebind Design porque recentemente aprendi a consertar livros e religá-los, e eu queria compartilhar isso com os outros. Eu gosto de ser capaz de reparar as memórias que esses livros guardam ... como um amante de livros eu entendo o poder que uma cópia particular de um texto pode ter, e eu amo ser capaz de restaurar essas cópias para que eles possam ser confortavelmente apreciados novamente.
Embora eu saiba que existem outros serviços online, espero oferecer uma alternativa artesanal um pouco mais barata. Eu sou apenas um contador amador, mas eu coloco muito cuidado e trabalho em cada re-vinculação! Eu tenho várias opções de pano de livro, a maioria das quais você pode ver na minha loja, e que eu estou feliz em discutir com você!
Eu também pintarei o que você quiser na capa, e a rebossá-la de uma maneira feita à mão que eu desenvolvi. Eu não uso um relevo tradicional, e assim as áreas pintadas vão parecer pintadas à mão simplesmente porque são. Se você está procurando um visual mais tradicional e acabado, existem outras lojas que podem ser capazes de ajudá-lo, no entanto, se você está procurando um reparo artesanal criativo ou re-bind, você encontrou o lugar certo!

Hi,
My name is Austin and I started Rebind Design because I recently learned how to fix books and re-bind them, and I wanted to share this with others. I enjoy being able to repair the memories these books hold-- as a lover of books I understand the power a particular copy of a text can have, and I love to be able to restore those copies so they can be comfortably enjoyed again.
While I know there are other services online, I hope to offer a slightly cheaper handmade alternative. I am only an amateur book-binder, but I put great care and work into each re-binding! I have several options for book-cloth, most of which you can see on my store, and which I'm happy to discuss with you!
I will also paint whatever you would like on the cover, and emboss it in a handmade way that I have developed. I do not use a traditional embosser, and so painted areas will look hand-painted simply because they are. If you are looking for a more traditional and finished look, there are other shops that might be able to help you, however if you are looking for a creatively handmade repair or re-bind, you've found the right place!
