Fui a una universidad de arte y una de las tareas que tuvimos que hacer es camisas de lejía. Lo sé, una escuela increíble, ¿verdad? Todo lo que hicimos fueron proyectos de arte... los tres años. Cualquiera. Fui con alas de querubín en la parte de atrás y se las di a mi madre. Alguien lo vio en su clase de Yoga y quería un pedido a granel. ¡Ese fue mi primer pie en la puerta!
Después de eso, mi entusiasmo se desvaneció y unos años más tarde vi una tienda en Etsy que vendía camisetas blanqueadas. Estaban marcados a un precio sustancial y vi que tenía muchas ventas. Decidí seguir blanqueando objetos pero en un nicho de mercado. I went to an art college and one of the assignments we had to do is bleach shirts. I know, awesome school right? All we did was art projects... all three years. Anywho. I went with cherub wings in the back and gave it to my mom. Someone saw it at her Yoga class and wanted a bulk order. That was my first foot in the door!
After that my enthusiasm tinkered off and a few years later I saw a shop on Etsy that was selling bleached t-shirts. They were marked at a substantial price and I saw he had many sales. I decided to continue bleaching objects but at a niche market. I've been working in publishing for some time, and realized the lack of classic book shirts. Then it started! Hours and hours of designs went into all of my shirts, and I've finally made a business out of it.
