Muffs Merino studio is up and running and I am ready to get busy making! ♥ Hi I'm Lori and I am the designer behind Muffs Merino. Muffs Slippers are slowly fashioned using the fanciest materials. I believe we deserve fancy things and if we do, our planet does too. Less waste and pollution. More thoughtful, fanciful and made with care. Fancy slippers for fancy feet and a fancier planet. How fancy is that.

All Muffs Merino Slippers are individually felted with soap, water and wooden dowel. Designs include beautiful gradients, artisan, two tone blends, solid, silky sparkle, colour blocks and silk print overlays. All slippers are made using artisan fibre and are finished with a natural tree rubber grip sole, cushy merino insole, velvet label and tags. Slippers are packed neatly in a box-envelope and compostable mailer. All Muffs slippers are slowly fashioned in tiptop quality using strong durable materials.

I have been following local and international artisans on Instagram, Facebook and Etsy for some time and have been working with various artisan fibre through my studies and exploration. Artisan fibres are hand crafted by artisans who dye or blend them using a multitude of tools, expert knowledge, skill and technique. I am excited to feature a range of artisan fibre in my products. Artisans featured may include Fibre2go, Heavenly Wools, Fibre Artemis, Soft Senses Yarn, Strength Honour Wares, The Spinning Mermaid, Beesy Bee Fibres, Blue Moon Alpacas, Divinity Fibres, Spin Jones, my own brand: Muffs Merino and much more. Please get in touch with me if you would like your fibre to be featured.

I designed Muffs Merino so I can conquer the day feeling my best. I know when I am warm, comfortable and lightweight, I get more done. And that's because I feel good. I am being me at my best and I am able to enjoy the little things in life and express myself more clearly. I hope you too will be you at your best, so you can truly be you and be clear, feel relaxed, feel good, feel more you and get more done wearing Muffs Merino.

I use the Zappo's shoe chart to size Muffs Merino Slippers. Options are in USA/CANADA sizing code. Choose your normal shoe size. See sizing chart in photos or visit:

(Photos coming soon. See Marmot Muff in photos)

Step 2. Choose Your Style and Colour
Can't decide? Just rub the lamp! This is that one time you can truly be you. Choose the colour that brings out your best you. From Tidying Up with "the great" Marie Kondo, ask yourself, "does this Spark Joy" ?

Step 3. Purchase Your Slippers
Once you purchase your dream slippers, you will receive a confirmation. Slippers will be made to order within 10 business days of purchase. I will send you a message with the status of your slippers from when I begin the first phase and as I complete the three steps in the production process to when your slippers have been completed and shipped.

Step 4. Wait for Your slippers to transport themselves into your mailbox.
I head to the post office every Friday. Shipping is included in the price. Slippers are flat-packed neatly in a box and compostable mailer.

Step 5. Put your slippers on your feet! To put them on, hold the slipper firmly on each side of the opening, with both hands and pull your slipper onto your foot until your toes reach the tip of the slipper. Once your toes reach the tip of the slipper, firmly pull the heal tag up around your heal. Voila! If your slippers are slightly snug, they will stretch out at least 1cm after a full week of wear. If your slippers are super snug with your toes curling at the ends, please get in touch with me for replacement.

Because the foot is three-dimensional, any two-dimensional measuring tool, such as a ruler can only approximate your true slipper size. Make sure you are standing, wearing socks that you might wear with your slippers. Women's sizes from 6 - 10 US are available at this time. All sizes including men's, kid's and baby will be added to the shop in time.

To the right of each product, you will find size options. You will find the sizing chart in the photo slideshow. Size options are in USA/CANADA sizing code. Choose your size based on based on your measurement in centimetres. Slippers are finished 1 cm larger than your foot for comfort and to accommodate socks. Example: Your foot size (USA SIZE 7) 23.5 CM. Insole: 24 cm. Outside Sole and Finished Slipper: 24.5cm.

I will work with my shoe last and sizing chart to create the perfect size for you. Slipper sizing is very important to me! I am confident in sizing Muffs Merino slippers but sometimes there can be hick ups. If your slippers do not fit you, or find a fault in your slippers, you can return the slippers. We can discuss your measurements and I will make a new pair for you. Shipping return cost is refundable upon request.

The insole in your slippers helps to protect from wools natural ability to chafe and pill. Slippers can wear over time. I can repair your slippers at any time free of charge. You will need to ship them to me with return postage included so I can return them to you.

I have priced items for a limited time to cover material and part production costs as I slowly build up my shop. I feel this is a fair price for muf-fans and myself at this time. Your support will help me curate efficient sustainable production practices and a pricing system that we both feel good about into the future.
