Textile art for the body and home

Although I trained as a scientist and worked in health-care for many years I have always had an active interest in art and crafts, over the past 20 years my interests have largely focussed on ceramics, willow sculpture and, more recently, textiles (I especially love the magic of felt-making, feeling the soft fluffy fibres knit together between my fingers to form a beautiful fabric).

Hand-made, wool felt is a wonderfully versatile material. It is made by arranging loose wool fibres in layers, wetting them out with soapy water and then lots of rubbing and rolling to make the fibres knit and lock together. I first discovered this fabulous material over 10 years ago and am still finding new and creative ways of using it; you can expect to see the results of my more successful experiments making an appearance in my Etsy shop.

Delivery

I aim to ship within 24 hours of receiving payment but at a minimum I ship at least twice per week (Monday to Friday).

Shipping to Europe takes approximately 3-5 business days (it very much depends on your country's postal service)

Shipping to the US takes approximately 4-7 business days if there are no delays in US customs.

Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore etc. approximately 7-10 business days.

On rare occasions it may take up to 6 weeks for international parcels to arrive due to delays at customs and the like.

Purchasers are responsible for any duties and/or taxes levied at the point of entry into the destination country.

I ship first class, in the UK, so your package should arrive promptly the day after it is posted.
