This print is absolutely gorgeous. I love it so much. The alignment is spot on, with the blue sea and the blue sky below and above the city, and the mirroring of the clouds in the sea's reflection. I'm no art critic, but this image speaks to me and draws me in. As a bonus, the photographer is just lovely to deal with.

About

I'm Kerry - a British 23 year old living in Wellington, New Zealand.
I was born in Gravesend, Kent, however moved at the age of 6 and spent most of my childhood in the Devonshire city, Plymouth, before packing up with my family and venturing to the other side of the world. 10 years later, here I am! Still getting confused as to whether they're talking about 'crisps' or 'chips' and outraged that the lessons on 'How to Make a Proper Cup of Tea' are still ongoing and unsuccessful.
My love for photography developed during my time at secondary school - year 12 to be exact. I was choosing what subjects to take and saw photography was being offered. I had always loved art so was intrigued to see what this subject had to offer and it soon became one of my favourites. I've never been good at theory - planning, explanations, reasoning etc - but my teacher always told me that I had a "natural eye for a great picture", which made a very 'I suck at everything except sarcasm and laughing at my own jokes' 15 year old actually consider that maybe there was a slither of hope.
By school's end I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I was a 17 year old about to face the adult world and I had no idea what I was doing. All my friends were ready to set off to univeristy for further studies while I made the decision to stay home and enter the working world - taking various jobs, earning some cash and seeing some of the world. Sure, there were a few subjects at school I enjoyed but none that had me fully convinced that that was what I wanted to continue studying and start a career with. Instead, I spent my time as a typical amateur photographer - experimenting with the camera and teaching myself the different styles and genres to capture.
So here I am - 23, single, suffering from resting bitch face, becoming increasingly more addicted to chocolate and whispering 'I love you' to my cat and dog while they struggle to escape my arms - taking a hobby that I love and turning it into a profession. No one gave me a 'This is How it's Done' instruction manual and no one told me it was going to be easy - but I'm up for the challenge.
Life is filled with chances to take and mistakes to learn from. It's a game we all play and we all want to win. So here it is, my life, my game. To the people taking the time to check out my work; from the bottom of my heart - thank you! Sincerely. There's still so much for me to learn, I'm not a professional not even close. But everyone has to start somewhere and with your help, support and loyalty, I can!
