Shop policies
An Auckland based enterprise, ellaCute works out of my garage which is actually rather nice, if not a little chaotic. The natural environment and those beasties that dwell within are the biggest source of inspiration for the illustrations and collages that we create. Aiming to recycle materials or to use process that are more environmentally friendly is key to our philosophy. It really is the least that we can do to balance out the impact that art making has upon our natural world, seeing as that is our main muse. In our little old land of New Zealand we are also know as ellaQuaint.
Accepted payment methods
Returns and exchanges
Some of the materials used within our collages are salvaged / recycled and they may be prone to fading in sunlight. I use a top quality adhesive to adhere the different materials
The paints that are used are archival quality acrylics and the water-colours are selected for their colour fastness also. It is recommended with all art works not to hang them in direct sunlight, and water-colours should be framed behind UV resistant glass.
Please choose carefully as refunds will not be given if you change your mind. However, should the workmanship be faulty, I will issue a refund upon return of the item. The return shipping is at the expense of the purchaser.
Payment
New Zealand: As well as Paypal, you can also pay by direct bank deposit into my bank account. Please contact me if that is the method that you wish to use.
Sorry but I do not accept checks or money orders.
Once you have purchased your item, do ensure payment is made within 3 days and any problems please contact me. If I don't hear from you and no payment is made, the item will be re-listed.
Delivery
International orders will be sent using NZ Post International Airmail. Depending on where you are your item should arrive in about 1 weeks time.
New Zealand orders will be sent via track and trace Courier Post.
Sorry, but no pick ups. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss that might occur during shipping.
