I received this limited edition print a few days ago and it's currently at the framer getting framed! It is absolutely stunning and I'm so excited to have this piece in my home. The colours are magnificent and it will add the most lovely pop of colour to my home. Thank you Fleur x

My print is gorgeous, it looks like it has the texture of the original art work and is on beautiful paper. It was better than I had expected. Fleur was lovely to communicate with and everything went smoothly.

Welcome to my little slice of Etsy...

I create unique contemporary ‘stitched’ paintings, celebration of my affinity with all things flora. I'm basically a crazy floral addict & plant mumma!

Here's what the lovely Sara from Brown Paper Bag recently wrote about my work:

You'll find me most days at my studio gallery in rural Upper Moutere, New Zealand. Either out on the lawn with linen - water & paint or curled up with a large pile of plant books & some threads...stitching...I'm ALWAYS stitching.

Ultimately I aim to create pieces that are one of a kind keepsakes transcending trends. My originals are hard to come by you can enjoy an incredible level of detail in the open & limited edition prints that provide a wonderful option for collecting.

Here's a little more about me:

Art has always been a part of my life. 4 years ago I decided to take the plunge and make it my day job. Inspired by nature, textiles, op-shop treasure hunts and music. You can usually find me my little studio gallery, in the Old Post Office building, Upper Moutere Village (30mins from Nelson, NZ).

Stitching has become a large part of my practise, in part influenced by my great-grandmothers hand embroidery & my endless op-shopping finds. It is mindful and reflective which makes it the perfect medium for me, slowing me down, making me more authentic.

When I'm not working (occassionally ;p ) you can find me hanging out with my family & friends, often at the beach / drinking coffee / wine... we're lucky to live a stone's throw away from beautiful beaches, vineyards and local producers. I'm most a peace when beach combing with the kids or foraging for wild flowers...or stitching...

If you like what you see please favourite my store and keep in touch.

X Fleur
