For as long as I can remember, I have loved to put things together, watch them grow in my hands and become something new. I began sewing as a little girl...it was just what was done back then. All girls were taught to sew along with other "necessary" skills. The sewing stuck with me. I sewed for myself and my sisters and then my children as each of them came along. Now I have Grandchildren to sew for!
I live in Idaho--the most beautiful state I've lived in and I've lived in a bunch of them. I have 1 of my 4 children still at home and my husband is a truck driver. I help with the family business, grow a garden, have several flowerbeds that I take care of and in my spare time, I run my little Etsy business.
My shop is named after my middle daughter, Carrie. She was KIA in Iraq in 2005. After years of working outside the home, I suddenly found myself having to start my life over. I went back to what I knew and…
