About

I get a bug and I have to scavenge through old thrift stores, junk emporiums, flea markets, yard sales (I'm sure y'all get the picture!). Hunting and foraging for found art has always been my creed. I love to work in silver; sometimes making up-cycled jewelry from old broken parts. I polish and fashion my own cabochon stones whenever I am able to squeeze in some time for that. Vintage and antique jewelry are my obsession. It is usually quite well made and has always held my fascination.

James (my husband and Art Bear!) and I have been creating and curating for Greenway Studio and gallery for over four years now. We are loving this online shop at Etsy, where we meet up with a very appreciative and creative environment. A solid sense of fun and the joys of working with materials, ideas, and people I admire seem to be turnkey here…

James works primarily in pen and ink; he has been doing this since I was at least sixteen years old... when I had initially met him painting an exemplary storefront window sign for Charleston's, "Cooperative Craftsmen" on lower King Street. I think that studio may have been Charleston's first Art Co-operative. He's always working at his drawings and also paints in acrylic and oils occasionally. His work ethic is so admirable... check his stuff out at our website that I've created for the both of us:
