My fascination with graphic design began when my dad brought home our first computer from work when I was in 4th grade. I needed to edit a photograph of Abraham Lincoln for a class project, which I found I could do pixel by pixel in Microsoft Paint. I would spend hours in Paint doing things as simple as changing the colors of flowers, removing backgrounds, even more complicated things editing items out of photos (which back then was like magic!). Through high school I taught myself to use Photoshop and took as many computer and graphic classes as they offered.
I discovered Etsy in 2010 when I stumbled across a shop who painted wooden dolls to resemble Star Trek characters. I was instantly hooked. I open my first shop selling jewelry that same year. In 2013, I closed it and converted it into a digital art shop. I absolutely love being able to play with designs in my head and turn them into prints. One of the coolest things…
