Since high school, I have been interested in creating things with my hands. Throughout my life, I have taken pottery, painting, drawing and jewelry making classes but it was not until the last few years that I began to incorporate creating something as a regular part of my life. Now I find that I am constantly thinking about my next project or the next skill I want to learn. I feel like the possibilities are endless and I am eager to try them all.
I am a busy mom of two little boys. These guys are very much “boys” so making jewelry allows me to do something “girly”. When I started making jewelry, I was working with paper and recycled materials. I am now moving more into enamel work and metalsmithing. These new directions are exciting and I feel like my brain is overflowing with ideas.
Thank you for exploring my creations.
