About

I started crocheting the summer of my eighth year when my grandma put a hook in my hand and had me crocheting chain after chain until she was satisfied with my work. By the end of that summer I was crocheting up a storm and haven't stopped since.

My mother taught me to sew, also at a young age. I got a sewing machine for Christmas one year. (I think I was ten.) I started sewing and stuffing rectangles and squares and passing them off as pillows and Barbie furniture. When I was twelve I entered an apron into a fair and was accused of having someone else sew it and enter it for me.

I love to work with my hands. I love to create. I love to make things for my family and friends. And it was one of my friends who inspired me to start a shop on Etsy. To him I say, "Thank you".
