Making jewelry has been a part of my life for over fourteen years and the women in my family have always been an inspiration to me. My grandmother was a beautiful woman who had great style from head to toe. My mother accepted every piece of jewelry I gave her with a smile on her face and would show my creations off proudly. She would sit with me all day at my booth at the fair, explaining to potential customers the types of stones I used and how beautiful my work was. I am proud to be the third woman in my family who shares the name Marie.
