We are three creative sisters. We grew up in the Panhandle of Oklahoma, great-grandaughters of an 18 year old girl who staked her claim in Oklahoma in 1898. Our Grandma was her last baby (and child number 12). That pioneer spirit still defines us today. We are hardy, hard-working, and we believe we can accomplish anything we set our minds to.
That being said, our mama (number six of eight children) had four kids, three of which are us sisters. Lots of mamas want their kids to grow up to be doctors and lawyers and such, but mama just wanted us to grow up and do what we love. Cherinda told her last year, "Aren't you lucky! Most families may or may not have one creative person in them. You've got four creative kids." We just laughed and laughed because as far as "professions" go, she's got two homemakers, a farmer, and a teacher.
Cherinda is two years…
