Lisa Hunt

I'm the daughter of a teacher who taught arts and crafts to public high school students for nearly 40 years. He taught everything from ceramic making to leather work. My mother took a part time job around the holidays working for a high end decorating house in the city. She did massive flower arrangements and decorated Christmas trees for hotels and businesses. Yet, until recently, I've never pursued arts and crafts in any way....strange. I went to college, endured jobs in offices for years and ended up miserable every time. Having lost my last office job when my mother passed away, to pass some time, I painted some ceramics. This lead to painting on canvas, working with polymer clay, jewelry and various mediums until I finally found my niche in needle felting. It took years but I believe I've finally found "my thing!"
