AGypsyRed's Profile

About

I grew up learning how to sew from both my mother and my grandmother, who learned the tricks of the trade from my great grandfather, who was a professional tailor.

I make an assortment of things, depending on my time and materials available. Everything is made with high quality materials and I don't rush through projects. Everything comes from a smoke-free home. I do have pets, but they're kept away from my sewing room.

I also sell in two other shops. I sell my dice and brocade bags in Dittybaggs, and I sell an assortment of things from big and tall shirts and jackets, to unique bias tape and fun resin clothing and jewelry embellishments in TallBlackSheep. I have a fourth account under ScrollsnTrolls, but it is not associated with any shop.

I do original designs in all of my costumes. I draft and size all the patterns myself, as well as the creation of each costume. Please be aware when you ask about a costume commission, I do have to account for the time it's going to take to create the pattern as well as the costume.

My children's costumes are all made with everything sewn securely on, and intended to be worn and played in repeatedly. They're all wash-n-wear, so you don't have to worry about them falling apart after one trip through the washer. Most children outgrow my costumes before they wear them out.
