Lisa J. Ammerman's Profile

About

My name is Lisa J. Ammerman, and I've been creating things for as long as I can remember.

I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1989. I studied all areas of studio art before doing my thesis work in oil painting. I also did extensive work in letterpress printing and bookbinding.

Upon graduation, I discovered polymer clay and became completely enchanted! For over twenty years I created miniature figurines and Christmas ornaments. I sold my work at area art and craft fairs under the name The Art Market. Eventually my work evolved into the whimsical, one-of-a-kind art dolls and figurines I create today. In 2011, my true passion was found and A Piece of Lisa was born.

When I am not making art with polymer clay, I enjoy other creative pursuits. I have a passion for paper, and I love…

About

My name is Lisa J. Ammerman, and I've been creating things for as long as I can remember.

I have a passion for paper, and I love making cards for all occasions, as well as one-of-a-kind handmade journals. I still pick up a paint brush from time to time (although not as often as I would like). I also enjoy interior design and DIY projects around my home.

I have been married to the love of my life, David, since 1986. We were not blessed with children, but have raised many pets. Currently we share our home with our Brittany spaniel, Rudy, and our cat, Lily.

Thank you for visiting my shop. I hope you enjoy my work.
