Abby Leigh Johnson is an artist and surface designer living and working in
Savannah, GA. She left suburban Chicago in 2004 to study fashion design and
fibers at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). She has always been
drawn to Savannah's southern charm and artistic community, which influenced
her decision to permanently move to Savannah. Abby's work explores the
intriguing relationship between memory and object and she is often inspired by
the history, culture and beauty of Savannah. Fabric and sewing have always

memory. Her work is in private collections across the United States and
displayed at SCAD’s Hong Kong campus.
