In 2009 Aimee Bolender retired from a demanding job in Dallas, Texas. In short order, she and her husband, Harley, found their way to Crescent City, where beauty abounds.

On the northwest coast quality of life is enhanced by Redwood trees, shorebirds, hummingbirds, unique flowers, Pacific Ocean scenes, elk, deer, seals, sea lions and the famous Battery Point Lighthouse.

Her photographic passion began after her retirement and is now a significant part of her being. Prior to retirement, there was little time in Aimee’s life to contemplate nature, much less spend time learning how to respectfully depict it in photographs.
