Aiste's Profile

About

My grandfather was a national artist and amber craftsman. I have inherited my love of amber from him. My grandmother was a jack of all trades when it came to crafting -- her knitted gloves, scarves and socks as well as jumpers clothed our whole family, her clothes where the talk of the town in Soviet times -- yes, we had no way of buying anything original, so everything had to be handmade.
My paternal grandmother was a masterful embroiderer -- some of the tablecloths and bed linen that I have looks like factory made - so precise and even are the embroidery stitches!
Coming from such background I had no chance of being with both left hands as they say in Lithuania. I love handcrafting, started very early and still find amazing new things to try!
Allow me to share some of that joy with you!
