Nancy's Profile

About

An Alaskan for 37 years, I use the local flowers, foliage, and scenery as inspiration for my colorways. I lived in Fairbanks for 30 years, but now live in Anchorage.

Having taught regular and special education for 30+ years, I now teach German 101 at the University of Alaska Anchorage and take a German literature course every semester.

I love finding clothing at thrift shops and making it over for myself--especially silk blouses. I also like making fibre-y jewelry. My goal is to eventually sell some of these things in my shop.
