Aletha Oberdier's Profile

About

I started crocheting 7 years ago when I first bought a hook for keeping my now-defunct dreadlocks tidy (it came with a 'learn to crochet' book). I picked up knitting a few years later.

I've found so many creative uses for crochet that I've never looked back. I especially love the three-dimensional versatility and spontenaity of yarn and hook - giving birth to my freeform style.

Proud member of the VeganEtsy Team, EtsyVeg, and Metro Detroit Street Team!
I can be found in person at the Rust Belt Market in Ferndale MI on select weekends.

I like creating vegan food, yoga, crafting, reading, writing, and raising awareness of food and environmental issues.
