Cindy Carrillo's Profile
It all started with a 4H sewing club and couple blue ribbons won at the Az State Fair in the 60's. My home is in Arizona and is full of family, easels, art and craft supplies, sewing stuff, cool old stuff (now called vintage).
Oil painting and weaving are my main medium but clay and wood are in there as well.
Collage Works, an collection of new and vintage papers, old magazine, unusable books, old sheet music, tea bags, ink, fabric, water-based & gouache paint, and marks on board or paper. Each one is unique and pencil signed. Some are mounted on cradled birch board, others are created directly on sturdy handmade watercolor papers and not mounted.
Clear color, solid shapes, textures are what I see daily and paint everyday. I strive to be true to the beauty…
