About

Hi! My name's Alla, I'm Russian, and I currently live in California. I've always loved to craft, and recently got into crafting with seed beads in 2008. One day I simply wandered into a store when some aventurine beads caught my eye. I liked them so much that I decided to get them and make a simple bracelet by stringing them on a cord. And that's when my desire to make jewelry out of beads was born. I made a couple of necklaces from stone beads strung on a wire, but my enthusiasm did not stop there, and I went on the internet in search of new ideas. The bead work that I came across completely won me over, and I began researching different types of seed bead weaving. I started small with right-angle weaving, then advanced to peyote stitching, and gradually grasped other types of stitching. And then, I couldn't stop. I abandoned the wires and began making seed bead jewelry.
