My husband and I arrived in Rockport, Texas in the summer of 2007. We took up the art of pottery. We were fortunate to have an extra building on the property, which we turned into a working studio and gallery.
We do a variety of pottery, but the most important design is the Oyster Plate.
It comes in a variety of shapes including fish, state of Texas, oval, round, rectangular and now even in the shape of a castle and cascading center piece.
The beauty of these Oyster Plates in the functionality. Made from stoneware clay, you put the plate in the freezer and serve raw oysters without ice. Put the plate in the oven and make Oysters Rockerfella. It washes in the dishwasher.
