Caitlin Clay's Profile

About

I'm an art teacher who's also an artist. I love sculptural arts and enjoy taking found objects and turning them into something new. I'm inspired by the work of Joseph Cornell and like to work within boxes, particularly old cigar boxes from Tampa's numerous cigar factories. I am always trying something new, I think because I encourage my students to do the same thing. The realization that there is no common "theme" to my work is what led to the name AlphabetSoupArt- a little bit of everything.

I am a member of the Florida Etsy Street Team and the Tampa Bay Etsy Crew.
