Hello! And thank you so much for taking an interest in me and my work. I've lived in the St. Pete/ Tampa area all my life. I recently moved to a lovely Key West style home nestled within an 80 acre nature preserve full of mangroves and abundant wildlife with my wonderful husband and our amazing almost 5 year old son, Escher. I'm a stay at home mommy and like they say, it truly is the toughest job. Ironically, I'm also creating more than I ever have! Five minutes here, ten minutes there, I'm finding the time for art and vintage hunting and more importantly, me.
Ever since I can remember I've had a heavy interest in anything artistic, unconventional or odd. As I grew into an adult I could see my creativeness permeate all parts of my life. From the way I dress to the way I decorate my house to the way I cook. I see art everywhere! Through the years I experimented with different mediums but it wasn't until I fused my passion for 'picking' at estate sales, thrift stores and flea markets with the messages and stories I wanted to create through
my art that I found my true voice. I consider myself an assemblage artist because whether I'm making a greeting card, a piece of jewelry, keepsake box or a shrine it's always made from bits and pieces. I especially love to incorporate items that show their history and use through much wear and age. I set no boundaries when it comes to what I make. I let what I scavenge dictate what I'll be making that week or month so be sure to check my shop often as you never know what surprises might be there!
