About

My love of art and shiny things started back at that time when I was seven years old, growing up surrounded by cotton fields in the boonies of Bakersfield, Ca. Having limited access to stores in the country, my mother relied on her natural gift for drawing to make our crayon-colored paper dolls and their clothes, including my favorite..... the sparkly diamonds!.

Like my Mother, I also had an inherited ability to draw, but my desire to seriously become an Artist began in earnest about 10 yrs ago. Mainly self- taught, with a vivid imagination and LOTS of practice, I developed my own style which is based on a look of romantic elegance with just the right touch of bling!

I love to paint many of nature's beauties but animal and human eyes along with roses, are my favorites as well as many of my customers. At the request of other painters I taught several eye and rose classes in a local ceramic shop.

Since I like unique and unusual looks, i.e. my fringed and beaded t-shirts, my clothing is usually only sold as one-of-a-kind unless I receive a special request to duplicate the design in a different size. Being a plus size woman, I try to incorporate designs and styles that would flatter or compliment fuller sized women, which the fringed and beaded tee shirts do. I only have two screen-printed painted tees because I realized from that experience, that my joy lies in free-hand designing and painting.
