Gary Anderson's Profile
My name is Gary Anderson and I am a lifelong woodworker. My father taught me to love working with wood. He was a carpenter also. I have a shop in my garage and work from home. I do all the work myself down to the smallest details. It takes about 4 days to make one jewelry box because of all the sanding and sanding to get the smooth surface and fine details to show best. I use a bandsaw to cut out the shape that I am working on and the designs just come to me and then I make them. I add flocking to the drawers to add a softness to the wood inside. I have won several awards for my creations.
The only assistance that I have is my wife goes to all the shows and helps sell and does all the paperwork and promotion type things and keeps up our website.
We travel all over to collect wood for the items…
