Andy Warden's Profile

About

I am 23 years old and I have been wood turning and machining since I was 13 years old. I love woodturning and metal working because its my way of being creative. I love taking a piece of wood from a fallen tree on the farm and transforming it into something interesting and unique. The majority of the wood I use comes from my generations old family farm in Giles County, Virginia. I am a member of the Blue Ridge Woodturner's Club, American Association of Woodturners, the World of Woodturners, and a demonstrator at Radford University's Appalachian Folk Arts Festival. I have taken many classes with world famous professional woodturners and also have a machining degree. I am a full time engineering technologist however I'm still working on completing a mechanical engineering degree. If you have any questions, feel free to send…
