About

Hey everyone! Thanks for checking out my shop. I am a stay-at-home mom to two precious little boys. Before becoming a mom, I taught first and second grade. This is when I started my painting career. I painted an author's chair for my classroom, and the next thing I knew, other teachers were requesting them for their classrooms. For end of the year gifts for my students, I painted each child a frame. I enjoyed painting the frames so much that I began painting them for friends/family as gifts...and eventually selling them. I love putting colors together and doing the lettering. I truly enjoy creating custom and unique frames and gifts for others.

I spend a great deal of time on each frame I create. After purchasing an unfinished frame, I remove the glass piece and backing. Then, I prime the frame on both sides. I sand the frame until smooth. I add 3-5 coats of base coat paint,…

I add 3-5 coats of base coat paint, depending on the color, to both sides. Then, I decorate the frame to your liking. Lastly, the frames are varnished with 2-3 coats of high-gloss clear varnish. If bows are requested, they are applied after the varnish has completely dried.

My price includes the cost of the frame, supplies (primer, sanding materials, acrylic paints, decorative materials, varnish, ribbon), and my time. I always like to tell people up front so they know what they are paying for. I invest a lot of time to make a great product & keepsake.

Depending on the complexity of the frame, I can usually have your frame ready to ship within one week, though I would prefer to have a little more time/notice.
