All of us here at Animal Fancy welcome you!

By "all of us," I mean myself and my anthromorphs! It's a long story, but suffice it to say that I cannot live without animals in my life...one way or another! A series of challenging life events and conversations led to the virtual animal family that continues to grow as I happily create these digital anthropomorphic images.

As you may have noticed, "images" alone were not enough for me, thus each character has a name and role in the internal community of "Fancyville," the magical town that exists *within* my shop as you will see when you read the listing descriptions. In the face of life's challenges, my goal was to make Fancyville a place that is nothing but happy, hopefully giving my visitors a brief escape from the oftentimes drudgery of everyday life. So here's hoping you'll find…

So here's hoping you'll find reason to smile and enjoy yourself!

I use only the highest quality materials, print most of the images myself on a Canon PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II printer, and use only Canon archival inks (no third party inks - ever). Only the very large size prints and canvas wraps are sent to a trusted company that produces beautiful work. I'm very very fussy about the quality of my work, so anything outsourced must meet my high level expectations before sending to my customers. Only the highest grade materials are used, so with proper framing or protection, the prints will last 100+ years. All canvas wraps are protection treated and water resistant.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Most of my images are available in different sizes and any image in my shop can be made into small note cards. Simply send me a message and I'll be happy to work with you to produce exactly what you want.

I do quite a bit of custom work, so if you are interested in having your pet's beautiful face in any of these images, just ask and we can talk about the details. If you're looking for a seriously unique gift, especially for the person that has "everything," you can be pretty certain they don't have a customized portrait of their pet in any of these particular settings....and certainly not with human characteristics. I charge a flat fee of $60 for a customized print in size 8"x10" (add $5 for each additional animal in the same image). Your custom print will never again be reproduced by me, or sold on this site or any other online site, or in any physical setting. The print becomes exclusively yours for personal use. This being said, I do retain copyright and keep the image archived in the event you ever need replacements or copies.

I'm very happy to say that my work has been used in numerous ways to fund raise for all kinds of animal welfare causes to make life better for domestic animals, wildlife, and farm animals. There's never enough we can do, so if you're an animal lover, please help in any way you possibly can. Even signing petitions is hugely helpful.

Of the many wonderful things that have happened since opening my shop, there are two in particular that I'm very honored to share with you. The San Francisco Bay Area organization "BADRAP," ranked nationally as the number one high-impact nonprofit for Local Animal Welfare, Rights, & Protection for Guidestar's Philanthropedia, had commissioned me to produce a portrait featuring 10 dogs rescued from the NFL player Michael Vick's dog fighting operation. Please visit BADRAP.org to read about this amazing organization.

I'd also like to mention that it is my distinct honor to have my big-horned ram print, "Ramsey," on display as part of the permanent collection at the Rochester Museum of Fine Arts in New Hampshire. Many thanks to the RMFA!

Thank you again for stopping by. Have fun looking around and meeting everyone! These images make terrific conversation starters, and will definitely evoke a smile, a hardy laugh, or a very definitive "eeeww!" Enjoy!!

All the best,

Donna
