Once upon a time, there was a little girl who was cleaning out a closet in her parents house. Buried in the depths of this closets, she found a box of magic and creative potential, humbly disguised as a jewelry kit. Now that little girl is all grown up, and has turned her love of jewelry and creativity into a business. She called her business "Annathyst Designs" after one of her favorite purple gemstones. She enjoys celebrating the beauty of creation with the materials she uses. She enjoys using vintage jewelry and re-purposed items in her jewelry. She enjoys art that tells a story.

She has her own story. A story that belongs not to herself, but to her jewelry. A story, buried deep in her mind, and transferred to her jewelry through her hands, as she works. A story of a ship's captain, sending letters and gifts to his beloved across the sea. A story of adventure and love. As she makes every piece of jewelry, she imagines where the captain might have found it, and what words he would write as he prepared to send it to his lady.

Perhaps, as you looks at her jewelry, you can imagine what the lady would feel as she received each gift, and what words she would write in return. Perhaps you can create your own story.
