About

Hello. Thanks for stopping by. I retired in December 2010 after working for 30 years and moved to the country with my husband of forty-three years. I started sewing in the seventh grade in school and my first project was a sixties MOD print shift style dress and a "Gonk" doll to match. I took sewing classes every year after that until I graduated from High School. I always loved to sew and made clothing and quilts and dolls for my children and for gifts. When my children were 12 & 15 I went back to work and didn't have much time to sew. Now that I'm retired I can sew and scrapbook and garden to my hearts content; and I do just that. I am teaching my granddaughters to sew and knit and craft. It's nice to be able to pass these things on to the next generations. We are most fortunate to be able to enjoy our retirement years doing what makes us happy.
