I am a child of handcrafting and nature.. together they have spun the yarn (tale) that has woven the fabric of my life. Eclectic would be a good description of my works gathered here.
I guess this all began with a needle and thread, I remember at around 4 or 5 how my little fingers fumbled to do embroidery… I think next came a crochet hook but it didn’t trip my trigger, in about 3rd grade Mom gave me a kids knitting kit, that did it! For a while anyway… then there were beads, the sewing machine and painting, my first saw, then another… Love tools…
In the late 60’s we moved our family to the country and along came bottle lambs from a friend, we had home grown fiber and treasures from our wonderful woods all at our fingertips.
Spinning the fiber brought yarns for the knitting, then came looms, big and small, so…

Natural fibers, wood fibers, most any natural fiber I can weave up before it gets away from me, beads, colorful Yarns and threads, fabrics, old fabrics recycled like jeans, sheets, and that is just the beginning
