Heather grew up in Connecticut and was pulled to yard sales every weekend by her mother who loved to find rare antiques to restore. With her love of antiquities, traveling and learning about her family's heritage, she received a bachelor's degree in history. Her business savvy was earned on the golf course working for her superintendent father where every day was a Caddy Shack reality, on the ice for an AHL hockey team where she pretty much did everything but drive the Zamboni, and on the campus of Yale University, working and learning from really smart people. In seeking a more laid back lifestyle, she moved to Phoenix in 2007 and started helping Chris market his furniture business. Heather apprenticed under Chris and learned the tricks of his trade and soon began designing unique furnishings of her own.

Christopher and Heather live in Central Phoenix with several rescued cats, dogs and birds.
