I was 17 when I became interested in art and sold my first oil painting of a sunset to a young newly married couple. However as life would have it, my journey led me away from art and down the path along many detours until I ended up full circle. I have allowed art back into my life, painting exclusively in the exciting, albeit challenging, medium of watercolor. I am grateful to be back.

My artistic intention is to celebrate the otherness / uniqueness of the ordinary by using spontaneous, free-flowing gestural strokes which yields an unfolding translucent drama thereby evoking emotion within the viewer.

As a response to the interaction between paint, water, and paper, the artist suggests that the ordinary is anything but ordinary.
