The artisans shop is a mix of old and new. Our shop occupies 6000 square feet and has much more room to grow.

Our forging stations are fitted out with the best in up to date blacksmithing equipment. Anvils, hammers, coal forges, leg vices and power hammers decorate the shop in an

We do make Custom Made to Order versions of most of our stock at a 20% increase for Materials & Labor.

With the music playing loudly and the hammers pounding, Artisans is not the quietest of places to be. The smiths, however, do not mind. Hearing protection has been the mandatory norm from the outset.

We do however have an open door policy and unless the weather is too cold, the doors at Artisans are open to passers by. The smiths are often happy to explain what they are doing and give an impromptu demonstration for the occasional visitor. At Artisans our goal is to enjoy the craft we have chosen. We want to share that enjoyment and as much as our schedule permits.

We know that our customers will continue to support us in our goal of maintaining the craft of blacksmithing. We look forward to the growth of the business in the training of new apprentices and the realization that this craft is still alive and thriving here in the States. We hope the appreciation of what "wrought iron" and blacksmithing really means will sustain this most central of all trades. We thank you for the opportunity to try.
